The biggest announcement in the budget was made regarding the Chiranjeevi scheme. The government announced in the budget that now the mediclaim per family has been increased from Rs 10 to Rs 25 lakh under the scheme. Along with this, the amount of insurance which was to be paid earlier Rs.850, will also not have to be paid.
Along with this, the government also announced to giving of government jobs to orphaned children during the Corona period.
76 lakh families will get a discount of Rs 500 on gas cylinders. This will be given to eligible families of Ujjwala Yojana.
